1) Wednesday, April 7 Michael Hill "Tips From The Bow" Michael's expertise is the front end of the boat. He has been crew on many successful Farr 40s and M32s. He will share with us his approach to running the bow and his perspective on the keys to winning races.
2) Wednesday, April 14 Bob Hughes "Building A Winning Team" Bob has been skippering winning boats for over two decades. Bob's achievements include 1st places in numerous NOODs, the Queen's Cup, and the 2007 Canada's Cup. He will draw on his experience and describe his approach to building a winning team where attitude and work ethic are paramount.
3) Wednesday,April 21 Wally Cross "Balance In Sailing" Sailing is Wally's passion and job. He is a member of the Quantum Sails Design Group. Wally has been a tactician for many winning programs across the USA. He has taken part in 40 Chicago-Macs and 35 Port Huron-Macs. Wally will describe how racing has evolved from "gut instinct" to more of a science. However Wally believes that winning racers must draw both open gut instinct/experience and science. He will describe how he tries to achieve the right balance.
