South Side: Estimated Time: 18 minutes Estimated Distance: 7.5 miles On the south side of town, is the Residence Inn if you would choose to have a kitchnette. It is a new facility but located near an office park. There are two large grocery stores nearby but nothing to walk to for dining or entertainment. There is a movie theater in very close by and several local or chain restaurants. They may offer a better rate than quoted and that will be updated on the site.

Downtown Holland: Estimated Time: 14 minutes Estimated Distance: 5.52 miles Downtown offers two blocks for walking featuring two bookstores, a number of dining options and two traditional hotels as well as a B&B. During the weekend there will be several music or entertainment events downtown as well as the fabulous farmer’s market on Wednesday and Saturdays.

North Side: Estimated Time: 20 minutes Estimated Distance: 9.63 miles The north side is located on the north side of Lake Macatawa. There are a number of hotel options but we have secured a good rate at the Hampton. These hotels are surrounded by the usual big box stores (Target, WalMart, Sam’s, Best Buy, Barnes and Noble), a number of chain restaurants, along the highway. A movie theater is located nearby, typical suburban commercial development.
